1. Register as an official Yard Sale for the Cure host on Saturday, May 31^st.

• You pay a small registration fee of $20 (online, $22 for registrations made offline) to get your official yard sale kit (includes a lawn sign, hat, pink balloons, promotion signs and information package).
• Donate all or a portion of your proceeds to Yard Sale for the Cure (www.yardsaleforthecure.com) and choose our national charity or a local treatment centre as the recipient of your donation. 100% of all donations are directed to the recipient charities.
• Online donations get an automatic charitable receipt through email.

2. Become a YSC Street Captain!

(THIS YEAR'S NEW STREET CAPTAIN CAMPAIGN HAS BEEN A HUGE SUCCESS! THE CUT-OFF TO ORDER OUR COMPLIMENTARY STREET CAPTAIN KIT IS NOW OVER. PLEASE JOIN US NEXT YEAR BY SIGNING UP EARLY IN 2009 TO BECOME A STREET CAPTAIN AND HELP PROMOTE YARD SALE FOR THE CURE!)

• This is a new and exciting role we've created in response to requests and the idea that we can grow quickly by adding one street at a time.
• YSC will provide you with a complimentary Street Promotion Kit that includes street signs, balloons, doorhangers, posters & information cards.
• Use the contents of your Street Kit to encourage your neighbors to register & host a yard sale and join your 'street sale'.
• After May 31^st, follow up with your participating neighbors to ensure they have made their donation at the YSC website and chosen the recipient charity(ies) they would like their donation to benefit.

3. Shop on May 31^st, 2008.

• Come out and shop or encourage your friends, family & neighbours to shop at Yard Sale for the Cure sales across the country.
• Find out where sales are being held through our electronic mapping system on our website www.yardsaleforthecure.com.
• Identify YSC yard sales in your neighbourhood with our lawn sign posted out on hosts front lawns.
